Kaizer Chiefs, a Premier Soccer League (PSL) team, have already made several new signings to bolster their squad. However, they will still be keen to add the former Orlando Pirates man to their forward line. Among the seven signings the captains have already announced are Given Msimango, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Edson Castillo, Pule Mmodi, Ranga Chivaviro and Tebogo Potsane.

Chivaviro was the only goal scorer among the new signings. The Chiefs have been linked with various forwards during the current transfer window. Some of the names mentioned include Yanga SC’s Fiston Mayele, Gor Mahia’s Benson Omala, Cape Town Spurs’ Ashley Cupido and Gabadihno Mhango of AmaZulu.

Interestingly, the leaders are said to be interested in signing Mhango as he faces an uncertain future at Pirates. However, the pirates later used Mhango as a substitute to acquire Tapelo Xoki from AmaZulu. Recently, it was reported that Mhango’s future with AmaZulu was uncertain, but now it seems that the club is opening up for him.

AmaZulu are said to be in talks with the player’s representatives to find a solution for Mhango and other potential players. This allows the Chiefs to make an offer for the former star of the Pirates. Mhango’s diversity and experience could benefit the captain, although concerns may arise as to why he might leave AmaZulu. In summary, Kaizer Chiefs, despite having made several signings, are still interested in adding former Orlando Pirates player Gabadihno Mhango to their squad.

Acquiring forwards from AmaZulu gives the leaders an opportunity to strengthen their forward line. However, the reasons why he might be gone are raising concerns.
